BEFORE YOU APPLY

Entry requirements.

  • Age and health

    18–30 inclusive; non-Chinese citizen in good physical and mental health.

  • Academics

    At least senior-high-school-equivalent graduation; good grades and foundation in basic sciences.

  • English

    IELTS Academic ≥6.0 (each band ≥5.0), TOEFL iBT ≥70 (each subscore ≥15), or equivalent. Native English or entire secondary education in English may qualify for exemption, with school-issued English grades and medium-of-instruction proof.

  • Country-specific records

    Official high-school or national university-entrance results. Indian and Pakistani applicants submit grade 10 and 12 results; Indian applicants also submit NEET results.

  • CSCA and interview

    Valid Mathematics and Chemistry scores before application deadline. Admission considers document review and interview.

  • CSCA Mathematics and Chemistry results are required before the application deadline.
  • Year 1 focuses on Chinese and Medical Chinese; medical subjects follow in years 2–5.
  • Bring the original Foreigner Physical Examination Form to China.

Documents to prepare.

  • Application form

    Beihua international-student application, completed in Chinese or English.

  • Passport

    Clear scan of the ordinary-passport information page. Renew a near-expiry passport before the application. Alternative identity evidence requires individual approval where a passport cannot be obtained.

  • High-school qualification

    Notarised high-school diploma, or a school-issued expected-graduation/enrolment certificate initially. Other-language records need notarised Chinese or English translations. Keep the final original diploma for registration.

  • Transcripts

    Academic results with notarized Chinese/English translations for other languages. Indian and Pakistani applicants include grades 10 and 12; Indian applicants also supply NEET. Other applicants provide official high-school or national university-entrance results as applicable.

  • English proficiency

    IELTS Academic at least 6.0, every band at least 5.0; TOEFL iBT at least 70, every subscore at least 15; or equivalent. Native/entire-secondary-English exemptions require school-issued English grades and medium-of-instruction proof.

  • CSCA transcript

    Valid Mathematics and Chemistry results before the application deadline.

  • Physical examination

    Copy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form in English, with all items completed, photograph affixed and cross-stamped, and doctor/hospital signatures and seals. Valid for six months. Retain and bring the original to China for the university’s arrival procedures.

  • Police clearance

    Valid no-criminal-record certificate from local public-security authority, normally issued within six months before submission.

  • Financial proof

    Bank certificate in your own name. A parent-held account also requires proof of your family relationship. This is proof of funds, not an extra fee.

  • Photo

    Electronic photograph on a white background.

  • Submission format

    Send the completed application and documents as PDFs to FirstLiners. Attend the interview if invited.
