Zhengzhou University’s medical lineage began in 1928. The present university formed in July 2000 through a merger that included Henan Medical University. Its main, south, north and east campuses are in Zhengzhou. English-taught health degrees include six-year MBBS, BDS, Anesthesiology and Medical Imaging, and four-year Pharmacy.
English-taught MBBS, BDS, Anesthesiology and Medical Imaging last six years. Pharmacy lasts four years. Each programme has its own course and practical-training requirements.
The curriculum includes basic medicine, diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics/gynaecology and paediatrics. Final-year clinical internship forms part of the six-year MBBS. HSK Level 4 is required for internship in China.

Age 18–24 is required and a high-school qualification or equivalent, or a Bachelor of Science qualification. Good physical health and no criminal record are required.
At least 70% is required in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology; Zoology and Botany may replace Biology.
Qualify through an English-speaking-country background, IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 82. Other training certificates are not accepted. Duolingo requires individual acceptance with the required score.
Each required CSCA subject must score above 50. Use the subject combination in your FirstLiners application instructions.
